Chris’s schedule today (3/7)

Just wanted to let potential visitors know that Chris is going to the hospital today to get drained, so he won’t be at The Lodge from 12-2 today.  He’ll be back mid-afternoon, will need a nap, then should be ready for visitors at 6 pm.

We have been in touch through Lois and Don throughout your journey. We are totally amazed and inspired by your outlook. What an inspiration to your family and for anyone else that knows you for that matter. You have and will continue to be in our prayers. God Bless You, Karen, Brendan and Jaxson.

I left a message on the last blog not knowing of the new update. I hope your visit to the doctor leaves you more comfortable. Chris, you are beyond what words can explain. Amazing is just not enough. You are a peaceful, selfless fighter and have taught me so much. You have made an emotional time for so many, some how a little bit easier to understand. We are always thinking about you:)

Thanks for letting me know about today. I was going to call and see if he’d be there, as I was planning a visit.
I had intenteded to go last night but coming back from our place up north made the drive extra long. A normal 3 hour drive took 5.
So Chris I’ll see your smiling face tomorrow. I have to work tonight. Say hi to Karen and the boys. I really miss Karen. Your in my prayers.

I am not sure if you will be able to click on this link I am attaching, if not hopefully you can copy and paste it, it is a 2 yr. Old singing God will take care of you.

Chris and Karen- It has been a long time but you both have been in my thoughts and prayers. I have been following Chris’s story; it makes me both cry and laugh.
Chris – I remember all the fun that we had as a DM group. You made those ProEx to Wolff transition days to much easier. (wow, that was a long time ago) We all had so many laughs in Atlanta and Chicago and here.
I am so glad that you have been alert and able to get around.

My continued prayers are with you, Karen and family.

    God Bless you.. Nancy Heineman

And God asked the panther spirit
Are you ready to come home?
Oh, yes, quite so, replied the precious soul
And, as a cat, you know I am most able
    To decide anything for myself.

Are you coming then? asked God.
    Soon, replied the whiskered angel
    But I must come slowly
For my human friends are troubled
For you see, they need me, quite certainly.

But don’t they understand? asked God
    That you’ll never leave them?
That your souls are intertwined. For all eternity?
That nothing is created or destroyed?
It just is….forever and ever and ever.

    Eventually they will understand,
    Replied the glorious cat
For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them
I just am….forever and ever and ever.

    Dear Chris and Karen,
I so enjoyed my visit tonight with you both. Chris you are so inspiring. I feel for you both and I hurt for you both. I am leaving my prayer for this evening for you Chris.
Angel sent by God to guide Chris, be his light and walk beside him, be his guardian and protect him; on the paths of life direct him.
Sleep well Chris. Love you both
